Returning a set of keys to the landlord once the property inventory is complete

At Check-Out we visit the rental property at the end of the Tenancy either with or without the Tenant present. The property is inspected throughout and a note is made of any differences between the present condition of the property and that described on the Inventory Report which was compiled before the start of the Tenancy.

When booking a Check-Out Report, the Tenant must have moved out of the property together with all of their belongings. All cleaning required under the terms of the Tenancy Agreement must have been completed prior to the time we are due to visit the property.

In order to compile a Check-Out Report we will need an original copy of a professionally produced Inventory Report which was signed by the Tenant at the start of their Tenancy.

The Check-Out Report is compiled and will include specific details with regard to the general condition and cleanliness of the property. We will also note any items that are now broken, damaged or missing from the property.

Where possible we will take the meter readings and if the Tenant is present, we can accept the return of the property’s keys on behalf of the Agent/Landlord. The Check-Out Report will be sent to the Agent/Landlord within 48 hours via email.
